Congress Yuva Sammelan

The Union Poverty Alleviation and Urban Development Minister Kumari Shelja said on Thursday that the Youth Congress Organisation of Haryana has become more responsive and active. She further said that it had directly associated with the All India Congress Party General Secretary and dynamic youth leader Rahul Gandhi. Shelja was speaking at a 'Yuva Sammelan' organized by Haryana Youth Congress at Congress Bhawan in Chandigarh. The function was organized by Haryana Youth Congress President Rao Chirnjeev.

Addressing a Yuva Sammelan in Chandigarh, Haryana Youth Congress President Rao Chirnjeev announced that a youth festival would be organized at Kurukshetra to motivate the youth about the rich culture heritage of the State. He also announced that a programme 'Chalo Chaupal Ke Aur' would also be launched in the state soon in which people would be apprised with the innovative policies and programme of the Haryana Government. He sought the unstinted cooperation of youth party workers to give new directions to the youth congress.


Rahul's role in motivating youth lauded 
 
CHANDIGARH: Union Poverty Alleviation and Urban Development Minister Selja on Thursday exhorted workers of the Haryana unit of Youth Congress to work with utmost dedication and commitment and follow party discipline.
Addressing a gathering of Haryana Youth Congress workers at Congress Bhavan here, she lauded the role of Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi in motivating the youth to come forward and play a proactive role in serving society.
She lashed out at the Opposition parties for levelling “baseless allegations” against Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Mr. Rahul Gandhi who had an impeccable clean image in politics.
Haryana Pradesh Congress Party president Phool Chand Mullana called for maintaining better coordination between the party and the government.
Former All India Youth Congress chief and Haryana PWD Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala asked the workers to follow the agenda set by Mr. Gandhi to ensure emergence of a vibrant India.
Haryana Finance Minister Ajay Singh Yadav exhorted the youth to wage a crusade against social evils.
Haryana Youth Congress chief Rao Chirnjeev said that with the blessings of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the youth would get a new energy in the State. He also announced that a festival would be organised in Kurukshetra to motivate the youth about the rich cultural heritage of the State.
