Haryana Youth Congress president Rao Chiranjiv said the campaign would be launched under the guidance of AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi. All-India Youth Congress president Rajiv Satav, party’s Haryana in-charge Jitender Bhanwar, Haryana Youth Congress observer Usha Naidu, Haryana Pradesh Congress president Phool Chand Mullana, Union Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Urban Development Kumari Selja, Finance Minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav, party MLAs and and office-bearers of the Youth Congress would be present on the occasion. Rao said an innovative programme, ‘Chalo Panchayat Ki Or’, was organised by the party from November 2 to December 3 last year and it had been successful with about 4 lakh more youngsters associating themselves with the Youth Congress.
